India, Dec. 10 -- New Zealand's second Test against the West Indies in Wellington took a worrying turn on Friday when fast bowler Blair Tickner was stretchered from the field after suffering a painful left-shoulder injury during a boundary-line dive.

Tickner crashed awkwardly to the turf while attempting to cut off a drive in the final session and remained motionless for several moments. Medical staff hurried to his side, stabilising him before he was lifted onto a stretcher and taken to the hospital in an ambulance. New Zealand Cricket later confirmed the injury involved his left shoulder.
