India, March 7 -- India's strategy of going in with five spinners in the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 paid off as Rohit Sharma and co. reached the final of the eight-team tournament and are now gearing up to square off against New Zealand in the summit clash. Ahead of the marquee encounter, BlackCaps coach Gary Stead confided that the side is preparing full tilt to get the better of mystery spinner Varun Chakaravarthy.
Varun has played two matches in the ongoing edition, taking seven wickets, including a five-wicket haul. The spinner's contribution was the deciding factor in India's victory over the Kiwis in the Group A encounter in Dubai.
