New Delhi, Aug. 28 -- For the first time, the Vice President's election will be conducted in the new Parliament building where the polling will take place in a conference room between 10am and 5pm on September 9, the Rajya Sabha secretariat announced on Wednesday. "The Electoral College for election to the Office of the Vice-President of India consists of the members of both Houses of Parliament. The nominated members of Rajya Sabha are also eligible to be included in the Electoral College and, therefore, are entitled to participate in the election.
