New Delhi, Jan. 31 -- The Centre is likely to introduce a bill in the upcoming Budget session for streamlining various services related to immigration and foreigners, including their entry, exit and stay in the country, people familiar with the development said on Thursday.
The Immigration and Foreigners Bill, 2025, is expected to be introduced by Union home minister Amit Shah in Parliament, they added. The ministry of home affairs (MHA), however, remained tight-lipped about the contents of the new bill.
