India, Dec. 25 -- The production of the new generation Kia Seltos has commenced in India, ahead of its anticipated launch in January 2026. The first units have been produced at Kia's manufacturing facility located in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh. The manufacturing plant commenced mass production in August 2019 and has an installed annual production capacity of 300,000 units

The new Seltos is designed as a big departure from the existing model. It is longer and wider, enhancing its road presence. The wheelbase is also longer to provide more interior space for the occupants. These modifications help in increasing the comfort and increasing road presence, while also ensuring that the SUV feels more stable and grounded on the road.
