new Delhi, July 10 -- India has successfully opened up non-competing global markets, including developed economies such as Australia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Switzerland, Norway, Lichtenstein, Iceland and the United Kingdom through free trade agreements, Union commerce minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said. "Friends, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this government has given priority to the agriculture sector for the past 11 years," he said at the 16th Agriculture Leadership Conclave 2025, adding that the same policy push to the sector would continue even in future.
