LUCKNOW, Feb. 5 -- In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government on Wednesday transferred 24 senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, bringing significant changes in zonal leadership, commissionerates, PAC units and district police commands.

At the top level, Sujeet Pandey (1994 batch) has been moved from ADG Lucknow Zone to ADG, Fire and Emergency Services, Police Headquarters, Lucknow. Praveen Kumar (2001 batch) shifts from ADG Ayodhya Zone to become ADG, Lucknow Zone.

Among other senior-level changes, K. S. Emmanuel (2003 batch), IG, EOW, UP has been appointed as general staff officer to DGP, while Vinod Kumar Singh (2007 batch) leaves his role as joint CP, Kanpur Nagar to take charge as IG, Dr Bhimrao Ambedka...
