India, Jan. 15 -- Minneapolis officials confirmed on Wednesday that they were investigating a shooting involving a federal immigration officer in the Near North neighborhood. This comes days after a woman, Renee Good, was fatally shot by an ICE agent, identified as Jonathan Ross, sparking protests across the country.

The City of Minneapolis acknowledged the incident in a brief statement posted to X on Wednesday.

"We are aware of reports of a shooting involving federal law enforcement in North Minneapolis," the city said. "We are working to confirm additional details."
