NDMC to hold mega clean-up in Lutyens' Delhi

New Delhi, Sept. 25 -- The New Delhi Municipal Council on Thursday will organise a mega clean-up drive in Lutyens' Delhi, with an hour of volunteer work, to mark the birth anniversary of Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyay. NDMC VC Kuljeet Chahal said the drive will be overseen by a committee of 56 employees and NDMC employees will participate in it. "Each of the 14 sanitation circles will be headed by a nodal officer who will be responsible for ensuring the active participation of all NDMC employees from 8am to 9am," he added.HTC
