New Delhi, March 22 -- The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has planned a series of beautification and upgradation works for Palika Bazar in Connaught Place, civic officials said. The improvements will include a grand chandelier under the central dome, LED signage for shops, glass mosaic tiles, and upgraded fire safety measures.
An NDMC official said tenders had been floated for replacing mosaic tiles and installing new railings near Gates 1, 4, and 5.
