India, Nov. 14 -- The ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) took a massive lead over the INDIA bloc, known as the Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, across several constituencies in early trends shortly after counting of votes in the Bihar assembly elections 2025 began at 8 am on Friday.

While initially the Mahagathbandhan's RJD remained ahead of NDA's BJP and emerged as the biggest party in party-wise leads for initial hours of counting, the fight for the single-largest party spot later was between Nitish Kumar-led JD(U) and the BJP.

While the NDA was ahead, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Mahagathbandhan initially appeared to be giving a neck-and-neck fight and was not very far behind. The gap between the two widened as counting progressed....
