New Delhi, April 5 -- The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) on Friday said that it has completed a receiving substation (RSS) at Rapid Rail's Sarai Kale Khan station and after final testing, it will act as the central power hub for all three corridors under Phase-1 of the Namo Bharat project.
The Sarai Kale Khan station is the largest on the Delhi-Meerut RRTS corridor and is planned to be the power junction for the high-speed rail network.
"The commissioning of the Sarai Kale Khan RSS marks a significant milestone in our efforts to deliver fast, efficient, and green regional transport," an NCRTC spokesperson said.
