New Delhi, Oct. 20 -- The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has busted an illegal laboratory manufacturing Alprazolam-a psychotropic substance regulated under the NDPS Act-in Ratlam district of Madhya Pradesh, the agency said in a statement on Sunday adding that two men have been arrested. NCB officials said that the agency's Indore zonal unit raided a facility near IPCA Laboratory in Gram Sejawata on the Mhow-Neemuch Road on Saturday. The operation led to the seizure of 13.76kg of Alprazolam, worth around Rs.3.44 crore. "Roop Singh Chauhan (51), a BTech graduate from Indore, and Abhijeet Singh Chauhan (39), a BPharma graduate were arrested from the spot," an NCB official said on Sunday. htc
