India, Jan. 30 -- With at least 27 people feared dead in the deadly fire that razed two warehouses at Nazirabad near Kolkata earlier this week, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday slammed the Mamata Banerjee-led government over the tragedy while demanding the resignation of the state fire department minister and a hike in the compensation announced by the government for the victims' families.
