Nagaland CM to meet shah over political unrest
Kohima, Nov. 17 -- The Nagaland cabinet decided to take up the unresolved political issue to New Delhi, days after the Isak-Muivah-led National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) chief Thuingaleng Muivah threatened to resume "violent armed resistance" if the Centre rejected its proposal for a third-party intervention in the current stalemate between the two. A ministerial team led by chief minister Neiphiu Rio and his two deputies Yanthungo Patton and TR Zeliang will be meeting Union home minister Amit Shah either on November 19 or 20 to discuss the issue, a person familiar with the matter said.
