nabin names new poll incharges; Ram Madhav makes a return
New Delhi, Jan. 21 -- Hours after assuming charge as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president on Tuesday, Nitin Nabin appointed party national general secretary Vinod Tawde as election incharge for Kerala, where assembly polls are slated to be held in April-May this year.
Union minister Shobha Karandjale will be the co-incharge in the southern state, assisting Tawde, who has also been appointed as the observer for the mayoral elections in the Union territory of Chandigarh.
Signalling the return of former national general sectary Ram Madhav, the new party president appointed him the election incharge for the forthcoming Greater Bengaluru Corporation elections.
