India, Jan. 13 -- Ira Khan, daughter of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has once again spoken candidly about her body image struggles, recalling a phase when she believed she was "fat." She revealed that the negative self-perception spiralled into the early signs of an eating disorder, leaving her afraid to eat.

Ira shared that it was during this difficult period that her father stepped in and took her to Germany for a fasting retreat to help her recover.
