India, May 2 -- Suhas Shetty, a rowdy sheeter and the prime accused in the high-profile Fazil murder case, was brutally killed by a group of unidentified assailants in Mangaluru on Thursday night. The attackers, armed with deadly weapons, ambushed his vehicle around 8:30 pm and inflicted fatal injuries. Despite being rushed to AJ Hospital, Suhas succumbed to his wounds, police officials confirmed.
Reacting to the incident, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Friday said that four separate police teams have been constituted to apprehend those behind the murder.
