New Delhi, April 9 -- The Mudra Yojana is a "silent revolution" that has so far disbursed over Rs.33 lakh crore collateral-free loans in the last 10 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday, adding that the scheme has also ensured social inclusion and economic freedom.

Interacting with a diverse group of Mudra loan beneficiaries at his residence on the 10th anniversary of the scheme, the Prime Minister said he and his cabinet colleagues would take direct feedback from the ground to make the scheme even more inclusive and beneficial , especially for young people who aspire to become entrepreneurs. Over 520.7 million loans have been sanctioned since the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) was launched on April 8, 2015.
