New Delhi, May 21 -- The southwest monsoon is likely to make its onset over Kerala in the next four to five days, much earlier than the usual date of June 1, as conditions are expected to become favourable, IMD said on Tuesday.
The Met department had earlier predicted May 27 as the date for the monsoon onset over Kerala. Normally, the southwest monsoon covers the entire country by July 8. P12
