India, April 28 -- Liverpool defeated Tottenham 5-1 on Sunday at Anfield, to win the Premier League 2024-25 title on Arne Slot's debut season as manager. It was an exciting affair as the visitors opened the scoring via former Liverpool player Dominic Solanke in the 12th-minute. That opened the floodgates as Luis Diaz equalised in the 16th-minute, followed by Alexis Mac Allister (24') and Cody Gakpo (34') making it 3-1 at half-time.
