Mohali, March 28 -- The Mohali Municipal Corporation (MC) passed its annual budget of Rs.211.19 crore for financial year 2025-26 in a special meeting on Thursday.
The outgoing fiscal saw MC exceeding its revenue target of Rs.160 crore, collecting approximately Rs.165 crore.
A key development was the approval to increase the property tax target to Rs.55 crore for the upcoming year, after surpassing the Rs.41-crore target in the current year.
Property tax, along with water supply charges, is among the major revenue sources for MC.
