Mohali, March 25 -- The Mohali municipal corporation (MC) has exceeded its revenue target of Rs.160 crore for the financial year 2024-25, collecting approximately Rs.165 crore. Encouraged by this success, the civic body has set a higher revenue target of Rs.211.19 crore for 2025-26.

The MC has also increased its property tax target to Rs.55 crore after surpassing the current year's Rs.41 crore goal. Officials credit the additional Rs.5 crore revenue to increased collections from property tax, water tax, and other fees.
