New Delhi, Oct. 2 -- India is yet to take a call on the level of its participation in meetings related to the Asean Summit in Malaysia later this month, though preparations are underway for a possible visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, people familiar with the matter said on Wednesday. If Modi decides to go ahead with the visit and US President Donald Trump accepts Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim's invitation to the summit, the two leaders could come face-to-face for the first time since Modi's visit to Washington in February. Since then, India-US relations have come under unprecedented strain because of Trump's move to impose 50% tariffs on Indian goods. P13
