India, Feb. 25 -- Bhagalpur Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday accused the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of ushering in "jungle rule" in Bihar and praised the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and chief minister Nitish Kumar for effecting a turnaround, virtually sounding the poll bugle for assembly elections scheduled later this year.

Modi was speaking after releasing around Rs.22,000 crore into accounts of around 98 million farmers across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) from Bhagalpur as the 19th instalment under the PM-KISAN scheme.
