New Delhi/Lucknow/Shimla/Chennai, Dec. 7 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the country to pay tributes to the architect of Indian Constitution Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar on his 69th death anniversary, marked as "Mahaparinirvan Diwas", on Saturday. Various events were held across the country to mark the solemn occasion. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi also joined Modi in offering floral tributes to Ambedkar at the Prerana Sthal on Parliament premises.
