Aizawl, Sept. 14 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday laid the foundation stones of development projects worth over Rs.9,000 crore in Mizoram, including the Bairabi-Sairang railway line, which integrates the northeastern state with the country's railway network. Modi inaugurated the Bairabi-Sairang New Rail line, built at a cost of Rs.8,070 crore, connecting Aizawl to the Indian Railways network for the first time. The PM launched multiple road projects, including the 45km Aizawl Bypass Road, worth Rs.500 crore.
