New Delhi, March 18 -- Poland's deputy foreign minister and secretary of state Wladyslaw Teofil Bartoszewski on Monday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi persuaded Russian President Vladimir Putin to not use nuclear tactical weapons at the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, expressing gratitude for India's involvement in the crisis.
"PM Modi did persuade Putin not to use nuclear tactical weapons. We want permanent peace," Bartoszewski said.P9
