New Delhi, Dec. 19 -- Public Works Department (PWD) minister Parvesh Verma on Thursday announced a series of pollution-control and road infrastructure measures, outlining what he described as a "time-bound and outcome-oriented roadmap" aimed at reducing dust pollution, improving road quality and easing congestion across the Capital. Addressing the media, Verma said the PWD has begun installing automated misting systems on all its flyovers to curb dust emissions. The systems will be supported by submersible reverse osmosis (RO) plants installed beneath the structures to ensure a steady supply of treated water.
