PANAJI, Feb. 6 -- The Goa police have arrested a 59-year-old man on charges of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old boy at Tivim in north Goa, police said.
According to the complaint filed by the survivor's mother, accused Paul Fonseca of abducting her son and sexually assaulting him. "Fonseca was initially detained after police personnel attached to the Konkan Railway police noticed him in the company of the boy. The survivor later told his mother about the assault, and she approached the police," said an officer.
Police have booked Fonseca on charges of abduction, sexual assault of a minor and related sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.htc
