New Delhi, April 22 -- Union civil aviation minister Ram Mohan Naidu on Monday held an urgent stakeholder meeting with officials from Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) over multiple delays at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), triggered by the closure of one runway for upgrades during the peak summer travel season.
The meeting came a day after HT reported major disruptions at the airport on Sunday, when nearly 68% of all arrivals and departures were delayed, despite a four-month-old warning about disruptions.
