India, Dec. 11 -- Microsoft Corp. has tied up with Cognizant, Infosys, TCS and Wipro to accelerate the adoption of agentic AI, CEO Satya Nadella said on Thursday.

These companies will deploy over 50,000 Microsoft Copilot licenses, setting up a new benchmark for enterprise-scale AI adoption, according to a statement.

"There's great momentum in India in terms of AI/Agentic AI applications getting deployed," Nadella said, adding that he is "excited" the US tech giant's $17.5 billion investment and the agreement with top IT services firms.

This is a developing story. More to come.
