India, March 28 -- Michael Caine is reflecting on the emotional challenges of acting alongside Heath Ledger in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight (2008) in his memoir Don't Look Back, You'll Trip Over: My Guide to Life. The veteran British actor, who portrayed Alfred Pennyworth in Nolan's Batman trilogy, admits that he was initially "terrified" of Ledger's performance as the Joker on set.
