MHA warns of OCI card cancellation over 2+ yrs' jail term or charge sheet
New Delhi, Aug. 13 -- The Union ministry of home affairs (MHA) has said that the overseas citizen of India (OCI) card, which allows foreign nationals of Indian origin to avail several benefits, including multiple entry-lifelong visa for visiting India, will be cancelled if such a person is sentenced to prison for a term not less than two years or has been named in a charge sheet in a crime that entails punishment of seven years or more.
