New Delhi, March 12 -- The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Tuesday said Metro services will start only after 2.30pm on Friday - the day Holi will be celebrated - and asked people to plan their commute accordingly.
In a statement, DMRC said that on Friday, no train will be available on any Metro line, including the Airport Express Line before 2.30pm. After they commence, services will continue as usual thereafter, it said.
"Metro train services will thus start at 2:30 pm from terminal stations on all Lines on March 14 and will continue normally thereafter," said Anuj Dayal, principal executive director, corporate communications, DMRC.
