New Delhi, May 25 -- Delhi saw a further rise in temperature on Saturday, amid a yellow alert for possible thunderstorms and gusty winds issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). While it has not issued an alert for Sunday, the weather office has forecast similar weather conditions. The maximum rose to 38.2degC, which was 2degC below normal but higher than Friday's 37.1degC. The minimum too climbed to 28.4degC-up from 26.4degC on Friday -a 1.7degC departure from normal. For Sunday, IMD has forecast gusty winds between 30-40 kmph, occasionally hitting 50 kmph, though no alert has been issued.
