New Delhi, May 29 -- Delhi experienced relief from a heat wave after five days on Thursday. Safdarjung station recorded 40.3 degree C which is normal for the season and nearly 6 degrees lower than Wednesday's maximum temperature of 45.9 degree C. Palam recorded 41.8 degree C, 1 degree above normal and 6.8 degree lower than Wednesday, Lodhi road and Ayanagar recorded a maximum of 38.4 degree C and 40.4 degree C, 2 and 1 degree C below normal respectively.
