MCD panel polls next week: BJP, AAP, new IVP jostle for power
New Delhi, May 28 -- The nomination process for elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi's (MCD) 12 wards committees and two vacant standing committee seats concluded on Tuesday, with parties filing 21 nominations for zonal chairman and deputy chairman posts, and three for the standing committee. The elections, scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday, will decide 12 zonal chairpersons, 12 deputy chairpersons, and two standing committee members.
