New Delhi, April 27 -- The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has approved the renaming of a road in south Delhi's Kailash Colony as Bodofa Upendranath Brahma Marg, following an announcement by Union home minister Amit Shah at the 57th annual conference of the All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) in Kokrajhar last month.
Former MCD mayor Mahesh Kumar Khichi had issued his approval on April 3 for renaming the stretch from Lala Lajpat Rai Marg near Kailash Colony Metro Station/A-18 to near A-5/A-6.
