India, June 26 -- Four masked men, at least two of them posing as security guards, allegedly stormed a businessman's farmhouse in south Delhi's Ghitorni on Monday night, held him hostage at gunpoint, and robbed him of Rs.30 lakh in cash and a gold chain, police said on Wednesday.
The robbers overpowered and stripped two guards stationed at the property, donned their uniforms, and entered the house posing as legitimate staff, investigators said.
The victim, Karan Chopra, a businessman in his late 30s who operates CNG pumps in Gurugram, was with his sister and a few employees at the time of the incident.
