Hyderabad, Dec. 2 -- The family members of Communist Party of India (Maoist) general secretary Thippiri Tirupati, alias Devji, have urged the Andhra Pradesh government to reveal his whereabouts, alleging that he has been in state police's custody since the November 19 crackdown. Police, however, dismissed the charge or any knowledge of his whereabouts. Devji took over as the general secretary after Namballa Kesava Rao alias Basavaraju's killing in May this year.
