RAIPUR, July 6 -- A Maoist was killed in an ongoing encounter with security forces in the dense forest of the Indravati National Park area in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district, police said on Saturday, taking the number of ultras neutralised by security personnel in Bastar region of the state to 415 so far this year. An operation was launched based on intelligence about the presence of top Maoist cadres on Friday and has since witnessed intermittent gunfire, police said.
