New Delhi, June 12 -- It turned out to be a disappointing day for Indians at the ISSF Munich World Cup with Manu Bhaker (25m pistol) and seasoned Chain Singh (50m rifle 3P) making early exits in the final. Double Olympic medallist Bhaker showed her class in the qualification as she shot a brilliant 298/300 in the rapid-fire round to make it to the final. She was in 15th place after the precision round (290) on Tuesday. Asian Games medallist Esha Singh, on the other hand, was placed fourth after the precision stage (294) but fell back to 11th in the second stage (291). Manu, with a total of 588, qualified at fourth place but was unable to carry the momentum in the final. Manu began well with 11 hits after the third series (five shots each). ...
