Mandaviya felicitates equestrian athletes
New Delhi, Dec. 6 -- Sports minister Mansukh Mandaviya felicitated the medal-winning eventing and dressage teams on Friday for their performance at the FEI Asian Equestrian Championships in Pattaya. The six-member Indian contingent returned with five medals across team and individual events, making it a successful outing at the continental championships.
Ashish Limaye, riding his 13-year-old gelding Willy Be Dun, bagged two medals - a landmark individual gold in eventing and a silver in team event - while Shruti Vora won three silver medals - two in individual and one in team dressage. Other team members were Shashank Singh Kataria and Shashank Kanmuri in eventing and Divyakriti Singh and Gaurav Pundir in dressage.
