New Delhi, April 11 -- A 23-year-old Indian national was arrested at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) airport by the customs department after he was caught trying to smuggle nearly 3.32kg of cocaine into the country, officials said.
Customs said the man had arrived on a flight from Entebbe, Uganda via Sharjah on Wednesday, and the narcotic was concealed in the inner lining of his suitcase.
"A team of the air intelligence unit intercepted the man based on specific intelligence. He was made to undergo a detailed x-ray screening and baggage check.
