New Delhi, Dec. 27 -- A 48-year-old man allegedly strangled his wife to death at their residence in east Delhi's Kasturba Nagar on Wednesday afternoon after an altercation over Rs.20, police officers familiar with the matter said on Friday, adding that the man then killed himself by jumping in front of a moving train on the nearby railway tracks. Officers said that the man asked his 45-year-old wife for Rs.20, which she refused, prompting him to allegedly strangle her using a dupatta in a fit of rage. P3
