New delhi, Feb. 25 -- A week after a Haryana-based gangster and his associates robbed a foreign exchange office in southwest Delhi's Vasant Kunj, Delhi Police arrested the 26-year-old from Mumbai as he tried to flee to Dubai. Police said Bhola Shankar, a member of the Baba Saifdon gang, is wanted in five cases and had previously fled to Vietnam, Thailand, and Cyprus to evade arrest.

A week ago, a video of Shankar flaunting pistols inside a car surfaced on social media. Police said he looted the Delhi office on February 14 to fund his Dubai escape. He and his aides held staff at gunpoint and fled with foreign currency worth lakhs. Two of his accomplices, Dipanshu Sharma and Gaurav Dhania, were arrested with firearms.
