Agartala, May 13 -- A man was arrested on Monday for allegedly posting objectionable comments about Union home minister Amit Shah, in Sepahijala district of Tripura, police said.
The accused, identified as Jahiruddin, a resident of Durganagar, will be taken to court on Tuesday. "We got a telephonic information about Jahiruddin sharing objectionable and anti-national comments about Union home minister on his Facebook account. We rushed to his house and seized his phone. We arrested him and lodged a specific case against him", said a police official said.
In a similar incident, a man was arrested in North Tripura district on Sunday for sharing an offensive post about Border Security Force.htc
