New Delhi, Feb. 14 -- The Delhi Police's crime branch on Thursday said that it arrested a 55-year-old man and his 23-year-old son for allegedly committing a burglary at the house of a family at Bibi Camp in Sarai Kale Khan on February 1. The accused, identified as Sher Khan, 55, and Imran Khan, 23, stole two gold necklaces, two gold rings, and two gold earrings and Rs.50,000 cash from the house when its occupants were away, police said.

The two planned the burglary over several months during which they studied the daily routine of the family members.

The accused were tracked down because they were known to the family and were suspected of the burglary. htc
