India, Jan. 14 -- On the eve of Makar Sankranti, actor Daisy Shah shares how the meaning of the festival has evolved for her over the years. Recalling her childhood, Daisy says, "When I was younger, we used to fly kites with my dad. All our relatives would come over, and the terrace would turn into a space where everyone gathered. We ate snacks and spent time together. That remains my strongest memory of the festival."

While those moments are still special, Daisy explains that her perspective has changed with time. "As I grew up, I started understanding the impact kite flying has on birds and animals.
